Green River

WY, CO, UT • US

The Green River is the Colorado River's largest tributary — 730 miles from
the Wind River Range in Wyoming to the Colorado confluence in Canyonlands
National Park. It carves four iconic river canyons: the Gates of Lodore
through Dinosaur NM, Desolation and Gray Canyons through the Tavaputs
Plateau, and Labyrinth and Stillwater Canyons through Canyonlands. Permits
required on all three multi-day sections. The Flaming Gorge tailwater
below the dam is a world-class Class I trout fishery.
