Hawks Nest (Tailrace to Gauley Bridge)

Short reach below Hawks Nest Dam, frequently dry due to hydro diversion.
When tailrace flows are running, Class III-IV creek-like drops through
a rarely-paddled gorge. Most boaters prefer the Lower Gorge above.
