Lower Owyhee (Rome to Leslie Gulch)

The signature Owyhee multi-day — a 4-7 day float through deep rhyolite
canyons, hot springs, and pictographs. Class II-III rapids spaced out
with long flatwater stretches (including a 4-5 mile reservoir paddle at
Leslie Gulch). Short spring-only season (typically mid-March through
mid-June). Self-registration at Rome; permit technically required but
first-come-first-served.
